Mr. Zachariah Curnow, father of townsman Edward Curnow, died on Sunday last, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. M. W. Prater, of Pittsburg, Kansas. The deceased was for very many years a resident of this city, and the body was brought here on Wednesday evening's train for interment. Iowa County Democrat, Nov. 27, 1885
